Prograde digital demonstrated the capabilities of their 1.0 (1TB Capacity) CFexpress memory cards at CES in Las Vegas. CFexpress cards share the XQD form factor, but require a firmware update to function with Nikon cameras with XQD card slots. It is unclear whether Nikon will also release a firmware update for their XQD equipped DSLRs. Notably, CFexpress cards offer a 1,400MB/s read speed and can write at 1000MB/S.
